RALU®MER SPA
RALU®MER SPA is our leading functional monomer based on acrylic acid.
As a sulphobetaine-containing acrylate monomer with an anionic sulphonate group, it helps to improve the antistatic properties of a polymer.

RALU®MER SPE
RALU®MER SPE is a zwitterionic methacrylate monomer of the premium class. The molecule contains a stable sulphobetaine-containing group that lends it stability by way of a large range of pH values.
In addition to this, RALU®MER SPE forms no precipitation with charged molecules or ions and is thereby itself completely salt-free.
It is exceptionally well-suited for applications in
- hydrogels
- adhesives on a water basis
- aqueous paints
- biomedical materials like contact lenses and germ-repellent coatings for catheters, because the sulphobetaine-containing groups prevent protein adsorption. This lends the surface anti-inflammatory properties.
- marine coatings because it has antifouling properties

RALU®MER SPV / AGE
RALU®MER SPV and AGE bring you real added value: They demonstrate outstanding stability in aqueous formulations and improve the hydrophilicity of acrylates/methacrylates.
They have an antistatic effect, improve the wet tack, as well as the conductivity and resistance to tensile strain. Also, almost no external emulsifiers are required.
